From August 18 to 22, 2003, General Xu Caihou, Member of the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the CPC and Director of the General Political Department of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, led a Chinese high-ranking military delegation to pay a visit to the DPRK.

From October 29 to 31, 2003, Wu Bangguo, Member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau ofthe Central Committee of the CPC and Chairman of the NPC Standing Committee, led a Chinese state delegation to pay a visit to the DPRK.

From March 23 to 25, 2004, Chinese Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing paid a visit to the DPRK.

From April 19 to 21, 2004, Kim Jong Il, General Secretary of the WPK and Chairman of the DPRK National Defense Commission, paid a visit to China.

From July 12 to 14, 2004, Kim Yil Cheol,Member of the National Defense Commission and Minister of the People's Armed Forces, led a DPRK military delegation to visit China.

From September 10 to 13, 2004, Li Changchun, Member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the CPC, led a Chinese Party and government delegation to visit the DPRK.

From October 18 to 20, 2004, Kim Yong Nam, President of the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly, led a DPRK state delegation to visit China.

From March 22 to 27, 2005, Pak Bong Ju, Premier of the Cabinet of the DPRK, paid a visit to China.

From July 12 to 14, 2005, State Councillor Tang Jiaxuan in the capacity as the Special Representative of Hu Jintao, President of China, paid a visit to the DPRK.

From October 8 to 11, 2005, Wu Yi, Member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the CPC and Vice-Premier of the State Council, led a Chinese government delegation to visit the DPRK.

From October 28 to 30, 2005, Hu Jintao, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the CPC and President of China, paid a visit to the DPRK.

From December 24 to 27, 2005, No Du Cheol, Vice-Premier of the Cabinet of the DPRK, led a DPRK government delegation to visit China.
